Eletta Explore Competition Terms And Conditions

  1. ELIGIBILITY:

- The "Win an Eletta Explore" social media competition is open to legal residents of South Africa who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.

- Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of De’Longhi are not eligible to participate in the competition.

 

  1. HOW TO ENTER:

- To enter the competition, participants must visit participating stores during the competition period.

- Participants should locate the Damian De Allende cut-out in-store and take a photo with it.

- Participants must then post the photo on their public social media profiles (Facebook or Instagram) using the designated hashtags provided by De’Longhi.

- Multiple entries from the same participant are allowed as long as each entry is unique and follows the specified requirements.

 

  1. COMPETITION PERIOD:

- The competition begins on 01 September 2023 and ends on 31 October 2023. All entries must be posted on social media by 31 October 2023.

 

  1. PRIZE DETAILS:

- The prize consists of a De'Longhi Eletta Explore coffee machine, which will be awarded to one lucky winner.

- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.

 

  1. WINNER SELECTION:

- The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the competition period.

- The draw will take place within 5 -10 days after the competition's end date.

- The winner will be notified through direct message on the social media platform used to enter the competition. If the winner does not respond within 30 days, a new winner will be selected.

 

  1. PUBLICITY:

- By participating in the competition, the winner agrees to De’Longhi's use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

 

  1. DATA PRIVACY:

- All personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and contacting the winner. De’Longhi will handle all personal data in accordance with its privacy policy.

 

  1. COMPLIANCE WITH SOUTH AFRICAN CUSTOMER PROTECTION ACT:

- This competition fully complies with the relevant provisions of the South African Customer Protection Act. All participants have the right to a fair and transparent competition, and their data will be treated with utmost confidentiality.

 

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

- De’Longhi is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, lost or delayed entries, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control that may affect the competition's outcome.

- De’Longhi reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or as required by law.

 

  1. DISPUTES:

- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in South Africa.

 

By participating in this competition, all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with any of the stated rules may result in disqualification.
