1. Introduction
1.1 This promotion is organized by De’Longhi South Africa (Pty) Ltd (the "Promoter").
1.2 By participating in this promotion, all participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Promotional Period
2.1 The promotion commences on 1 August 2026 and concludes on 31 October 2026 ("Promotional Period"), or until stocks of the Barista Boxes last, whichever occurs first.
3. Eligibility
3.1 The promotion is open to all permanent residents and citizens of South Africa aged 18 years or older.
3.2 Directors, members, partners, employees, or agents of the Promoter, as well as their immediate family members, are excluded from participating.
4. How to Qualify and Claim
To successfully claim the free Barista Box, participants must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:
4.1 Purchase: Buy any qualifying coffee machine from the De’Longhi La Specialista range from a participating retailer.
4.2 Scan & Sign Up: Scan the official promotional QR code on the point-of-sale material and successfully sign up for the De’Longhi marketing newsletter.
4.3 Collect: Collect your Barista Box instantly at the point of purchase/retailer counter or De’Longhi Group Brand Ambassador, subject to stock availability at that specific store.
5. The Promotional Gift (Barista Box)
5.1 The complimentary gift is a De’Longhi Barista Box valued at R1500.
5.2 The Barista Box typically contains selected De'Longhi accessories (e.g., De'Longhi Classico coffee beans, EcoDecalk descaler, double-walled espresso glasses, and a thermal travel mug), subject to change based on stock availability.
5.3 The promotional gift is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or store credit.
6. Limitations and Stock Restrictions
6.1 "While Stocks Last": This promotion is strictly subject to the availability of the Barista Boxes. The Promoter is not liable to provide alternative gifts or financial compensation once stock has run out.
6.2 Only one Barista Box may be claimed per qualifying La Specialista machine purchased.
7. Returns and Refunds
7.1 If a participant returns the qualifying La Specialista machine to the retailer for a refund, the un-opened, unused Barista Box received as part of this promotion must be returned simultaneously.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1 By scanning the QR code and signing up for the newsletter, participants consent to the Promoter collecting and processing their personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
8.2 Participants can opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter.
9. General
9.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate this promotion at any time if deemed necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
9.2 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any technical malfunctions, QR code failures, or network disruptions that may prevent a participant from signing up for the newsletter.
